Gangseogu is the self governing district as Busan expands the jurisdictional area and part of Gyeongnam is newly included.

We boast of the beautiful nature such as Gadeokdo self growing camellia habitat, and migratory birds habitat, produce flowers, Gangdong perilla leaf, Myeongji leek, Daejeo tomato and Garak Golden Rice etc. in the fertile and broad plains and also produce various sea foods such as oyster, seaweed, green laver and Gadeokdo gray mullet etc. in the river mouth where fresh water and sea water cross each other.
